Berklee Faculty

Teaching at Berklee is a thrilling experience, the students are excited and dedicated and I feed off their energy. Being in front of a class is a performance, and I am a performer! That said, teaching is as exhausting as a stage performance, and some days it is hard to be “on.”

My home at Berklee is the Contemporary Writing and Production department, and my focus is the production track. The courses include Tech Tools for the Writer, and MIDI Applications for the Writer, both are computer production courses. The topics range from basic MIDI and sequencing to sound design and MIDI orchestration. Not one to sit still, I also adjunct teach courses in the Music Synthesis and Film Scoring departments. My classes include basic arranging and music technology, advanced sequencing and sound design, and scoring to visuals.
